$28 mil. dollar new odor control processing facility and equipment for NYC –DEP. Owls Head Water Treatment Plant.
Project entails the construction of a new 3 story structural concrete processing structure on an H- beam pile foundation and furnishing and installing new odor control processing piping and equipment The project requires that the new facility be constructed directly adjacent to the plants current odor control building and settling tanks while they are still in service and then bringing the new facility on line in phases to minimize disruptions to plant operations.
$37 million dollar out of the ground design- build project of 1.4 megawatt fuel cell cogeneration facility for Verizon.
Project included site work, new natural gas mains, installation of (7) Owner supplied 200 kW UTC fuel cells and controls. Project also comprised furnishing and installation of all new switchgear, transformers, electrical interconnect equipment and load management controls, nitrogen purge system for fuel cells, mixed bed deionization system for fuel cell makeup water and various accessories. New HVAC work included installation (2) 70 ton absorption chillers, rooftop condensers for rejection of excess heat generated by fuel cells, structural steel for roof mounted equipment, unfired steam generators driven by high temperature hot water recovered from fuel cells and the installation of (2) new PLC’s for the integration of the controls between the fuel cells, stand-by power engines and utility power.
$22 mil. contract for exterior masonry restoration, roofing and parapet reconstruction and HVAC upgrades at New Dorp High School for the NYC -SCA
Project consisted of 5,000 L.F. masonry parapet reconstruction ,160,000 sq.’roof replacement ,replacement of 650 aluminum double hung windows, installation of new HVAC controls, upgrade of cooling and heating plant and replacement of refrigeration equipment including cooling tower plus the installation of new gas detection systems.

$102 mil design-build contract for Choice Hotels Corporate Headquarters in Silver Spring, MD.
Projected consisted of two new 7 story office buildings totaling 170,000 sq.’ and the total gut and renovation of 2 existing office buildings totaling another 76,000 sq. ft.
Project scope entailed development of raw 50 acre site for 2 new buildings in conjunction with site work development for new underground utilities, roadways and state highway interchanges encompassing a total of 120 acres serving the 2 new buildings and the 2 existing buildings that were renovated as part of the project.
New buildings were of cast in place reinforced concrete foundation drilled into rock, steel frame superstructure with reinforced concrete decks and spandrel beam elements and glass and steel curtain walls construction used for the building envelope.
Two existing buildings were of reinforced concrete beam and slab construction with steel and glass curtain walls hung from reinforced concrete spandrel beams and structural slabs.
Commuted weekly for 5 years to Washington D.C. office to oversee project progress and maintain client relations.
