Construction Executive with over 20 years of experience in Design-Build, General Contracting, Construction Management, and Program Management. • Developed and implemented procedures for contract administration and control functions of a design/build contract for United States Courthouse project in Minneapolis, a $110 million federally funded project.
• Directed senior staff in the development of project plans including time frame, funding and staffing requirements. Coordinates with project accounting group with regards to job cost setup procedures, monitoring, and preparation of cash requirements.
• Worked directly with subcontractors, owners, and attorneys in the negotiation and settlement of construction claims. For unresolved claims, drafted the memorandum of position for the trial attorney.
• Coordinated with other departments including property management, leasing, asset management and accounting, to ensure timely completion of projects on budget.
• Performed on-site visits during construction to evaluate progress and resolve performance issues.
• Ensured project completion and follow-up by soliciting client feedback and conducting post project review meetings.

Project Highlights
• East Campus Redevelopment: East Campus Redevelopment Project is a Public & Private Partnership, transit-oriented development, which encourages pedestrian and bicycle access and use of public transit. The Project will be developed in two phases. Phase I of the development will consist of approximately 1,000 residential units, 100,000 square feet office, 425,000 square feet retail/entertainment, 200 room hotel, 3,500 structured parking spaces and associated infrastructure to support the development. Phase II of the development will consist of 1,000 residential units and 1,400 structured parking spaces. Total project cost is around $900,000,000.
• Park Potomac Development: Park Potomac is a planned mixed used development community in Potomac, Maryland. Project includes six high rise condominium buildings consisting of 450 units of upscale condominium; 450,000 SF of commercial office space and 155,000 SF of retail space. Total project cost is around $600,000,000.
• Downtown Silver Spring, Maryland: A Public-Private Partnership project with Montgomery County, Maryland. The private portion of the development includes retail including restaurants and entertainment, office building; hotel and multi-family residential building. Total project cost is around $550,000,000. The development includes:
 Commercial/Retail Development: 500,000 SF of retail/commercial development in the Downtown Silver Spring. Development included 20 screen theatres, 180-room hotel, 250,000 SF office building, retail (16 restaurants and other retails such as Border book stores, men & women wear, furniture stores, banks, office depot etc). The project was a public and private partnership development project in the Downtown Silver Spring, MD.
 American Film Institute, MD ($26 million): 65,000 SF of Silver Theater Renovation/Addition of theatre and office space, Silver Spring, Maryland
 Town Square Garage, Silver Spring, MD: 1400 parking spaces with 5,000 SF office space and 14,000 SF retail space in Downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.
 Wayne Avenue Garage, Silver Spring, MD: 1732 parking spaces with 7,000 SF office space in Downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.
• Medical office building, Inova Loudoun Hospital ($12 million). The 110,500 square-foot medical building connected to the hospital’s emergency room and MRI suite, and accommodates an ambulatory surgery center, a cancer care center, and a PAD/CATH lab for cardiovascular services.
• The United States Courthouse, Minneapolis ($110 million) – A Design/Build Project: Federal Building – U.S. Courthouse in downtown Minneapolis, MN, built on 91,000 square-foot site is a fifteen storied (294 feet) facility, which has 500,000 gross square feet, 315,000 square feet occupiable square feet and 525 car underground parking.
• Frederick Law Enforcement Complex, Frederick, MD ($12.5 million): Construction of a new 62,595 square foot, three-story administration building for Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, the Maryland State Police and the Frederick County Central Alarm (911) Center.
• MFRI Headquarter, University of Maryland, College Park ($4.7 million): Design/Build of 20,844 square feet addition to the existing Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute Facility, University of Maryland College Park, MD
• Miner Elementary School, Washington, D.C. ($15 million): Construction of new 76,000 square feet two-story elementary school for Washington DC Public School.
• Carlin Springs Elementary School, Arlington, VA ($12 million - Multiple Prime): Construction Management Services for the 86,745 square feet, two-story elementary school.
• United States Postal Services - TMS National Deployment Contract: Program Management Services for approximately $3.0 billion TMS National Deployment Contract of up to 250 United States Postal Service Mail Processing and Distribution facilities nationwide, USA. The projects consisting of demolition of existing facilities, addition of construction to accommodate Tray Management System for United States Postal Services automated sorting equipments.
