For over twenty-seven (27) years I have worked as a construction manager, superintendent, project engineer, coordinator, subcontract administrator, or project manager. I have extensive experience in construction sales and estimating with a proven track record of results. I have owned and managed my own consulting business that provided construction management services for companies that did not need a full time construction engineer or manager for their capital projects. I have perform all phases of construction management including project supervision, contract administration, design, engineering, cost estimating and scheduling, subcontract administration, material take off and procurement for companies whose capital projects ranged from 10K to 470MM. Having been the sole proprietor of a company, I was responsible for all work associated with owning a business that included marketing, sales and estimating, scheduling and coordination. In addition to the above-mentioned duties I have also done tank farm and piping design, equipment and building layout, construction management and project construction. I am very proficient with a computer and skilled on all of the Microsoft programs and various other computer software programs. I have been trained in drafting and am very precise and detailed on both board and Turbo-CAD. I’ve managed projects with contract values up to $470 million dollars. While being in project management, I have managed multiple projects at one time, coordinating not only company personnel but also subcontractors. I have managed direct personnel and subcontractors in a union environment as well as a non-union environment with successful results. Due to my field, supervision and project management experience I have developed excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. I take pride in my ability to take minimal information and produce maximum results with emphasis on customer satisfaction and overall profitability of the projects that I am involved with. My focus on detailed planning and my strong commitment to safety and quality both during the design phase and construction phase of a project has allowed me to maximize profits for the companies I have worked for. I have conducted several training seminars to help employees understand their construction trade better and give them the knowledge to perform their jobs in a safer and more professional manner. In addition to my construction background, I have also been directly involved with maintenance management and training. With the industrial construction and maintenance knowledge I have and the integrity that being a Christian brings to my life, I feel that I can be an added asset to any company. I have a current passport and have worked overseas. I am willing to travel for long term or short-term projects anywhere a company requires that I go. If you should have any questions, please contact me at the numbers listed above. I will be happy to supply any information you might require and discuss my background with you.
