Turnberry West Construction (Owner/Builder), Las Vegas, NV August 2006 – September 2009, Project Director who served on the Executive Construction Committee for the Project and was instrumental in creating and managing the Project Management Policies and Project Management Technology for Owner/Builder’s entity used to construct the $3.2B mega-resort. Directed User Groups, Engineering, Design and Construction Program for the Tower Portion of the Project, including all estimating, budgeting, value engineering, “design to budget†process, Asia/Domestic procurement, Silver LEED program, OCIP program, CPM scheduling, life safety testing, FF&E procurement, and overall project commissioning. Responsible for all corporate inter-departmental communication, input and organization for the Project from design, through construction and commissioning. Managed and established training and performance measurement programs for over (100) employees.
The Haskell Company(Design/Build), Jacksonville, FL September 1999 – July 2006, Director of Design & Construction responsible for managing and overseeing $500M annual revenue with operations, staffing and complete project delivery, managing over (50) employees. Increase annual revenues and profits and created numerous repeat business Clients. Responsible for all phases of Project Management, Business Unit Budgeting and Planning for pre-construction, cost control, scheduling, quality control, and staffing.
Friedman Properties, LTD (Real Estate Developer), Chicago, IL 1992 – 1999, Vice President of Design & Construction responsible for hiring all Project Management personnel, financial and accounting, design consultants and construction contractors and vendors for large active Chicago River North Developer. Responsible for capital budgeting, corporate-wide Project Management policies, design management, contractor monitoring/management and successful project delivery within required development budgets and schedules for over $2B in development across (36) different properties and 12M SF of space. Completed multiple projects, including the historic renovation of Medina Temple/Tree Studios, Reid Murdoch Center, Goodman Center, and numerous four and five star hospitality projects. Completed multiple tenant build-outs, technology system installations and directed in-house construction department with over (100) employees.
