Construction Superintendent
Objective: Supervise a construction project, or projects from the ground up,
With in the schedule, and budget.
14 years experience in construction supervision on various sized projects, including multiple single-family homes, town homes, mall rehabilitation, several house remodels, retail build outs, condo conversions, condo high-rise buildings, and condo build outs/remodels.
Job duties include:
< Coordinating all trades, venders, architects, and engineers
accordingly, also in house staff (other supervisors, carpenters, and laborers).
< Comply with the schedule.
< Discuss daily progress, and issues with the project manager.
< Attend safety, production, and staff meetings.
< Keep a daily log.
< Constant follow-up with job progress and delays.
< Direct the sub contractors, notify them on a daily basis when they are behind schedule, and work with them to get ahead.
< Enforce safety and clean up.
< Coordinate material, equipment delivery and maintenance.
< Secure construction materials, equipment, and debris.
< Meet with owners, do walk troughs, generate punch list, and resolve any issues or incomplete work in a timely manner.
< Schedule all building inspections, and make sure the subs keep up with there inspections.
< Warranty work.
< Problem solve.
Education: High school, for year carpenter apprenticeship, fifty hours OSHA training certificate, misc. certificates in rigging, cpr, flagging, post tension construction, and waterproofing .
Computer/technical strengths: Microsoft word, excel, and access.
