With a strong background in building sales and delivering results, I managed startups and turnaround situations by creating cultures that drive business growth. I developed key client relationships with clients such as Toyota, the Federal Reserve Bank, the Kellogg Foundation, MGM, Dow Chemical, and the University of Michigan.
I took one troubled company with revenues less than $500K and within three years achieved revenues of over $31M. Having managed budgets to $2M and staff to 125, I can immediately contribute by:

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Rescued eroding client base. GSI Electric’s predecessor company was restructuring and clients were seeking other service contractors. Developed business plan and hired new team. Implemented communications program that addressed the ‘new’ GSI. Within six months reestablished company’s reputation and won new clients.
Tripled industry average profits. Competition for new contracts in Detroit area was intense. In order to be more competitive, established tighter GSI policies on labor usage and material costs/buy-outs, in both the office and field. Won larger projects. Averaged over eight percent profit margins.
Penetrated healthcare and hospitality markets. Motor City Electric client base was 100% in the automotive industry. Identified several new markets. Trained staff on how to win contracts in new industries. Won significant contracts which led to opening new branch offices throughout the US.
Built company into national player. Identified opportunities for Walbridge to enter into new territories. Negotiated key joint venture agreement with national development firm on large multimillion dollar projects. Established company presence in Florida, California, Michigan and Oklahoma.
Built company into regional powerhouse. Walbridge needed to establish its presence in Florida market. Managed all programs including design/value engineering, planning and pricing. Took over top spot as premier builder of senior care housing, retail, healthcare and education facilities in the region.
Assistant VP, Business Development, Florida. Transferred to lead strategic business development for the two Florida offices. Increased revenues to over $60M in two years.
General Sales Manager, Detroit and Chicago. Opened new markets and offices. Led team that brought in over $800M in new revenue, $100M of which was personally generated. Managed all budgets and P&L.

Opened new channels in the hospitality, healthcare and commercial industries. Led diversification of customer base. Successes in new markets allowed for opening of new offices throughout US.
