1976-1994 Plumbing Contracting, Construction and Health and Safety Supervision· Roofing superintendent and site safety representative during the construction of the new Glaxo Smith Kline manufacturing/ research and development facility in Stevenage, UK. The project at the time was the second largest construction project in Europe next to the Channel Tunnel. Duties included but not limited to;· Managing, at its peek, 40 plumbers· Facilitating safety meetings· Writing safety risk assessments and method statements· Ordering supplies· Attending construction meetings with the general contractor· Plumbing superintendent at the new Bournemouth (Dorset UK) Hospital (phase 2). The project was a new phase to an active hospital. Duties included managing plumbers from the inception of the construction work (drainage and sewerage), through to the project completion (fit outs and commissioning).· A.W Edwards- Australia- Worked as a plumber for a large Sydney based General Contractor. Projects include new apartment construction, schools and government new build and refits.· Plumbing superintendent on Poole (Dorset UK) Maternity Hospital refit. The project was an active facility and involved managing plumbers, liaising with the public and interfacing with the General Contractor.· Served a 4-year apprenticeship in Plumbing and Heating with a UK General Contractor.
