Was challenged to motivate and lead a new community team that was behind in the completion of homes which in turn was creating a lack in revenue per quarter and lengthening the interest carry as well as not delivering homes to the customers as expected. I managed and organized the team as well as implementing weekly schedules, order logs, weekly progress reports and clear expectations. Through teamwork and dedication the team was able to close 12 additional units from the original goal which earned them the "Construction Team of the Year" award.
Planning the redevelopment and enhancement of a high profile 18 story high rise. Through design and engineering we were able to create additional parking and the addition of common amenities. Our challenges were met which allowed for additional revenue and an increase in occupancy rate.
The opportunity was enormous. The chance to be apart of a company startup and the challenge to operate the construction department. Utilizing past experiences gave me the tools to create and organize a department and assemble a team of excellent construction professionals.
Managing and controlling the entire company while completing this custom home community under budget and within the prescribed timeframe.
Supervised the construction and completion of a million dollar custom home gave me the ability to work closely with the owners to ensure selections were made in a timely manner as well as to keep the home within their budget. This 6500sf home was built in nine months and delivered to the customer exceeding their satisfaction.
Managing of homeowner relationships during the building process and warranty period contributed to achieving a 96% average customer satisfaction rating.
