I was the primary organizer for the GrandHotelSalone exhibit at the Milan Furniture Fair 2002, collaborating with top-tier architects, Italian furniture manufacturers, master chefs & media including Richard Meier, Zaha Hadid, Jean Nouvel, Matteo Thun, Ron Arad, B&B Italia & Paul Goldberger, Architectural Critic of New Yorker Magazine. I was personally responsible Tihany Design’s expansion into the Asian market with the commission for the Mandarin Oriental Landmark Hotel, Hong Kong. Today, they continue to thrive in Asia with projects at the Shangri-la Hotels in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, as well as at the Westin Hotel in Chosun, South Korea. Additionally, I conceptualized presentations for uniforms, menus, and style for Boscolo Hotels & Mandarin Oriental Landmark Hotel, Hong Kong, collaborated on the book “Tihany Style†with Mondadori Electa Publishers, wrote press releases, handled Requests for Proposals and maintained the company website.
I am currently Vice President & Associate Broker at Halstead Property LLC and Halstead Property Development Marketing LLC, specializing in the luxury residential property market in prime Manhattan and Brooklyn, with some commercial experience. Most recently, I have successfully pitched & introduced Chatham Development Company’s US$56 million new architecturally-significant boutique condominium development in prime Manhattan, “Chatham44†to Halstead, an accomplishment normally executed by my superiors. I successfully negotiated the contract with the sponsor, including specific & competitive sales hurdles, which were achieved and surpassed, collaborated with Stephen B. Jacobs Architects on design conceptualization of the subject building and of the off-site sales office and completely sold all 58 residential units, priced up to US$5,600,000, for which I was awarded “Highest Gross Sales†in first half of 2008. Other awards include “Highest Gross Commissions†in April 2009 and the “Top Ten Brokers†ranking in June 2009 and February 2010.
