PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Developed and implemented an aggressive plan for remediation of Joint Commission, CMS and State Fire Marshal cited unsealed penetration violations reported at the 900 bed Henry Ford Hospital Campus in Detroit. Responsible for design and implementation of an above ceiling access permit system to track facility wide renovation system upgrades. Issued permits averaging over 150/month tracked electrical, mechanical, plumbing, voice and data cabling work with a primary goal of ensuring compliance with barrier integrity and infection control regulatory standards. Subsequent inspections noted over 75% fewer unsealed penetration findings and favorable commentary on the progressive nature of the program. Program then adopted throughout the Henry Ford Health System.
Continuously reviewed existing and developed new specific policies and procedures and work order tracking system with contractors and skilled trades to ensure code and budget compliance and reduced facility maintenance concerns and expense
Supervised a crew of up to 30 skilled trades to systematically identify, document and promptly correct facility deficiencies through a service tracker system
Responsible for continuous monitoring and updates to Henry Ford Hospital Life Safety CAD plans to properly designate smoke compartments, hazardous rated spaces, shafts and horizontal evacuation routes through 3 million square foot campus.

Reviewed and updated Henry Ford Hospital Plant Operations policies & procedures to ensure up to date compliance with evolving mechanical, electrical, IT code and environmental safety mandates.
