Summary
I have been heavily involved in commercial, retail and residential construction industry for over thirty years in diverse roles such as: operations, project management, and estimating. I facilitated increases in revenue as much as 300% while streamlining internal systems to control overhead costs. I led negotiations such as that for the completion of base building interiors at the Katy Mills Mall by implementing win/win-strategies with subcontractors to maintain the client budgets.

SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
DIRECTED a five-year growth plan by expanding our client base with a targeted marketing campaign and improving quality control procedures. Tripled our sales volume during five-year period while maintaining profit margins and controlling overhead.
DEVELOPED guidelines. Field superintendents were inconsistent in their methods of completing their tasks. I developed detailed guidelines for streamlining processes for the completion of these tasks. Led to improved change order procedure: completed in a timely manner and more accurately resulting in closing projects weeks earlier.
STREAMLINED systems. As company had grown, inter-departmental duplication of efforts had become evident. I led staff in analysis of workflow and creation of detailed job descriptions. This improved efficiency, streamlined systems, improved employee morale and reduced overhead costs by 8-10%.
RECOGNIZED the need to implement technology in the field. Analyzed available technology and costs, developed plan to implement its usage over one year period. Cost were less than $500 per project, improved efficiencies more than covered cost.
EVALUATED departmental budgets for cost reductions. Implemented teambuilding plan within each department to seek ways to cut costs, increase revenue, and reward individuals for their ideas.
