6/2007 to now General superintendent for Preimier Contracting Group. Overseeing all phases of preconstruction for projects in 13 to 18 million dollar plus range. Project management and liaison with owner and their representatives.
3/2006-11/2006 Safety Director for FH Paschen on the CTA Brown Line . Handling the safety operations for the renovation of 10 stations, including new stations facilities..
4/2005-1/2006 Construction/maintenance manager for Finch & Barry properties. I was in charge of new construction, acting as the owner’s representative and maintenance of 17 properties.
3/2004-1/2005 Superintendent for Redmond Construction Company at the hillcrest shopping center. This project involved the demolition and relocation of all utilities, rework of the facades.
6/2000-1/2004 Superintendent for McShane construction,. A warehouse and office space for Goodman packaging in Waukegan., Reynolds Aluminum in Elgin, A new 3-story office and training facility in Arlington Heights for OSHA. Precast parking garage, a two story LaSalle bank and a two story 44,000 square foot borders books and tenants
4/1995-5/2000 Superintendent for Mota Construction at the Great Lakes Naval Base for the Indefinite paving contracts. Repave streets. I was also superintendent for a joint venture JOC contract worth 50 million dollars at the Naval Base and city of Chicago Public schools.
2/1994-3/1995 Project manager for HLF Construction. I supervised the Pedway renovation between the Daley Center and State Street New handicap codes at 6 post offices, , 8 Chicago Health clinics, vehicle maintenance faculties and various other project for the City of Chicago. I was involved in as much as twenty-seven projects at one time.
(1971 through 1994, 23 years with Tishman Construction on the following Projects)
2/1993-9/1994 Coordinated the demolition and construction of the tenant space for Intelenet Services at River City. This evolved the total gutting of existing spaces and new build-out of utilities and maintain the dust free type environment needed.
6/1992-1/1993 Centennial Center located at 1900 E. Golf Road. This project consisted of the addition of new tenant space to the building as well as the renovation of existing tenant spaces without any disruption to the normal routine of the tenants.
5/1990-5/1992 Safety coordinator for the Sheraton Hotel and Towers. A 1200 room hotel with the largest ballroom in the Midwest. .
6/1989-4/1990 Superintendent for Tishman Construction at the Commerce Plaza Oakbrook. Three separate office towers, upgrade of these buildings to present codes and the enclosed walkways built to interlock all three towers.
9/1988-3/1989 Superintendent for the third and fourth floors of the Grandstand interiors at the Arlington Park Racetrack. . The two floors that I supervised included the main kitchens, restaurants like The Million Room, The Paddock Pub, The International and the Governors Room.
9/ 1986-8/1988 Superintendent for Tishman Construction Corporation at he Nikko (now known as the Westin hotel). This 20-story luxury hotel involved caisson work along the Chicago River, over freight line tracks connecting.
5/1982-8/1986 Superintendent and safety coordinator at the Gateway IV office building located at Canal and Jackson. A 20-story office building over the train tracks for different lines coming into Union Station. I was the superintendent for all tenant build -out of this building.
7/1980-4/1982 Superintendent for Tishman Construction Corporation at Children’s Memorial Hospital.
Part 1 - The building of diagnostic and treatment facility, Radiology, Laboratories Operating room’s,12 story elevator tower and entryways.
Part 2 - Addition of 6 stories to the existing 4-story structure. Construction of underground tunnels and new storage, purchasing and receiving facilities.
3/1979-6/1980 Superintendent for Tishman construction Corporation of Illinois involved in the additions and alterations at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Coordinated the remodeling of the worlds largest trading floor at that time, without interruptions to trading activities
6/1977-2/1978 Labor foreman for the Phase-I demolition and relocation of services at Children’s Memorial Hospital. .
8/1972-5/1977 Labor foreman with Tishman Construction at the Mid-Continental Plaza office building developing 2.5 million square feet of office spaces, which included 10 floors (one half million square feet developed all at one time) for Sargent and Lundy Corp.
6/1971-7/1972 Laborer and assistant Foreman with Tishman Construction on the 222 s. Riverside Plaza Office building, developing approximately 1.1 million square feet of office and commercial space.
