The Society of Arts and Crafts was established in 1897 as a non-profit organization whose mission is to support the creation and advancement of contemporary craft – work made using ceramics, fiber, glass, metal and/or wood. The exhibition, education and award programs promote emerging through established artist. Sponsoring two CRAFTBOSTON shows a year as well as administrating the John D. Mineck Furniture Fellowship.
CAREER PRESERVATION TASK FORCE, IFMA, Boston, MA 2009 – Present
Committee Member
The goal of the task force is to provide ongoing support and a networking forum to IFMA members. It schedules different events to be held each month which will include a morning support group, evening training seminars and after-work socials.

Managed 10 to 12 projects annually with a budget of $25 million and a 60% travel schedule, directed all phases of project deliverables including site selection, review of leasing documents, requests for project funding, design supervision, furniture orders, invoices, schedule, budgets, site visits, and equipment/security/furniture installation, ensured resolution of any security issues and staff access codes, verified that all staff relocated was fully operational on first day of business and worked on the signage rebranding program.

Director of Design
Oversaw - all space planning projects, furniture specification, ordering of furniture/fabrics/finishes, asset management inventory and storage, maintained up-to-date floor plans, managed a $6 million annual budget, reviewed invoices, assisted HR as a translator and with staffing issues, landscaping department and tenant relations/billing. Participated in the Bank’s management rotation program overseeing the bank record retention department, print shop, shipping and receiving department, mailroom, and copier maintenance program supervising a staff of 38. Was the liaison representing the Federal Reserve Bank at all Central Artery Project meetings. Performed annual staff reviews.
Prior to 1990, I worked at architectural design firms in MD, Washington D.C., and MA.
