I am an architect with multiple building type experience, strong organizational skills and a passion for sustainability. I would bring experience and project/program management abilities to a firm looking for a steady reliable hand to manage projects and clients. My background includes traditional design/bid/build as well as design/build project delivery. I acquired my LEED accreditation in 2006 and am co-chairing the local Events Committee for the USGBC.
In the future I would like to continue to apply my knowledge of project management to increasingly challenging projects and also incorporate sustainable design. I would also like to involve myself in new business development.
If you feel that I may be a match for a position either in project/ program management or sustainability at this time, please contact me at the address below. This could be at an architectural firm, construction management firm, or even an in-house position at an industry business leader. I may be available for relocation, if the opportunity is right.

As Director of Operations for PFVS Architects, responsible for the day-to-day operational management of professional services. Grew the firm from 34 technical staff of architects and interns to 51. Oversaw the technical process, resource allocation and quality control to assure that the project delivery process was in alignment with the firm’s professional goals and commitments. Introduced the use of Deltek Vision in employee scheduling and project monitoring to provide financial reports to the Partners and Project Managers to manage project progress. Created standards for project milestones and quality control to increase effectiveness and quality standards.
As Senior Project Manager for LEO A DALY, became the go-to project manager for larger, complex projects. Managed projects up to $1.6 billion. Took over two troubled projects and brought to a profitable conclusion; Richmond International Airport Checkpoint Widening and the Tallahassee Marriott projects. Office leader in promoting LEO A DALY’S Project Management system, serving as role model and educator. Mentored young professionals. Became first architect in Atlanta office to be LEED accredited and then organized training for the remaining staff. Lead project manager for the Hospitality business sector for 3 years and maintained client relations.
Broad range of experience in the traditional design/bid/build delivery method, as well as the design/build process. Knowledge of program and construction management allows a more comprehensive approach to the entire construction process from programming through construction, which he brings to each project.
Considers sustainable design a priority for the future. Became a LEED Accredit Professional in ’06 and continues involvement by co-chairing the local USGBC Educational & Events committee, attending the annual Greenbuild Conference and staying active in the local area.
