CHIEF INSPECTOR ~ EPCO/TEPCO Pipeline Rehab and Hydro Testing
Project: Oversaw all aspects of inspection and documentation in the 63-mile rehabilitation of an 8†pipeline from Port Arthur to Mont Belleview, TX.
• Installed nine new valve sets including a new launcher and receiver near the midway point; purged this system with nitrogen and hydro tested in approximately 5-mile sections in order to prepare it for certification and use with a new product (Butane).

PIPELINE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER ~ Niska Gas Storage Project (2009)
Project: Directed the installation of a gas gathering system in Gridley CA, that included all QA/QC and Inspectors related to this project; seven HDD drills through the rice fields and wetland’s.
• Surpassed challenges including California environmental regulations, storm water prevention plans, and endangered species along with the extremely high water tables; completed project on schedule.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER ~ EXXON Mobil Piceance Creek Development Project (1/2008)
Project: Championed the installation of a new gas gathering system in Piceance Creek, CO with a budget exceeding $70M over a 10-month span.
• Directed the Project Management lifecycle including schedule review and updates, cost controls, budget management, the RFI process and all change orders.
• Successfully remained under a 1% weld rejection rate kept project on schedule despite astronomical documentation and schedule impacts, various unknowns and extreme weather conditions in the Rocky Mountains.
CHIEF INSPECTOR ~ 16†Plains All-American Pipeline (2007-2008)
Project: Led project scope as a Chief Inspector, while initiating a Construction Manager role for a 16â€, 29-mile spread in Salt Lake City, UT, with 14 miles of this project is being directionally drilled; project involved several ancillary projects in Wyoming and at the Chevron refinery in North Salt Lake along with fabrication shops and Pipe Coating Mills.
• Project scope included mutable directional drills proceeding at the same time, along with the conventional installation of mutable 1 to 2 mile sections through Down Town SLC.
• Managed and oversaw the daily workflow and scheduling of sub-contractors and directional drillers on this 16†spread, three stations located in Evanston WY and one in North Salt Lake City.
• Created complex reports on progress, status and overall completion of the project; conducted internal audits during construction, and worked with survey crews to ensure that their numbers match ours.
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER ~ Giant Pipeline (2006-2007)
Project: Built a new, remote location pumping station in the middle of NM consisting of 15 capstone turbine generators, 3 200 Hp pumps, a metering skid, a 30,000-gallon propane tank, and a metering control building.
• Managed all aspects of this project including the excavation and building of foundations, underground piping, and the coordination, delivery and installation of all buildings, equipment, and underground piping.
• Oversaw the installation of a pig launcher and receiver into the existing 16†giant pipeline that was connected through the metering skid and to the 3 200 Hp pumps.
• Poured 400 yards of concrete and executed over 550 welds with one repair, all in incumbent weather throughout the project; mechanical and civil finished on schedule.

PIPELINE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Project: Pigging upgrade project on existing pipelines including the addition of launchers and receivers; included the installation and start up of the systems.
• Directed all field welding inspection, prefabrication, and production of as-built drawings.
• Maintained daily responsibility for heat numbers verification and the coordination of survey and x-ray crews.
• Oversaw all excavation project planning and initiated the direct supervision of all sub-contractors.
• Executed all aspects of hydro testing weld inspection along with some contract administration.

• Coordinated all aspects of tool install for the Implant aria that included scheduling, quality assurance, cost controls, and the management of all subcontractors associated with the tool install.
• Successfully resolved field issues while maintaining installation schedule at INTEL AZ.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
• Managed and oversaw all construction activities and operations for the Phoenix-based office including a staff of schedulers, field superintendents and the warranty group.
• Analyzed and created solutions to field problems, as well as acted as the direct interface with customers in resolving all issues associated with the installation and warranty of swimming pools and equipment.
• Successfully restructured the Construction Department and implemented corrective construction controls that transformed the organization into a refined, results oriented construction team.
ASIA TECH CORPORATION 2003 - 2004
PRESIDENT ~ GLOBAL OPERATIONS
Project: Relocation of seven semiconductor facilities (including over 9,000 pieces of semiconductor equipment and the reinstallation of over 2,000 pieces) concurrently from the United States (Phoenix, AZ, Redding, PA, Allentown, PA, and San Antonio, TX) to China; all projects were completed within 18 months, and within the $100M budget.
• Directed complex strategic planning, and the assigning of Project Managers for each location.
• Developed specific procedures and tactics, permitting my team to conquer the problems of multiple projects in varied locations; included standardizing bidding and billing processes, streamlining of subcontractor management procedures, and creating an efficient reinstallation procedure in China.
• Oversaw the daily activities of over 200 craftsmen and a management team of 20 with home office administrative support.
KITCHELL INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING 2002 - 2003

• Directed all aspects of the strategic planning and marketing of global factory relocations, incorporating development of new business and marketing plans.

• Oversaw the relocation of a Hitachi television factory from Greenville, NC to Foshan, China; consisted of 3 complete lines and in excess of 1,000 sea containers.

• Developed and launched a global semiconductor tool relocation platform that included infrastructure and interpersonal relationship development to facilitate the worldwide relocation of semiconductor equipment.

• Coordinated installation of the Kanto Chemical system at the Komatsu project; initialized schedule changes to enable base build chemical systems to meet the deadlines specified by the client’s need for chemical use at this facility; coordinated contractor staff, chemical commissioning processes, inspections, and punch list items.
• Responsible for all thin films parts clean and wet bench installation, scheduling and space management.
• Directly supervised the installation and weld inspection of several tools and all process pipe systems for a new upgrade of this plant.

• Assigned to the Intel Fab 7 and 9 facilities in Albuquerque and Portland during base build and tool install portion of project.
• Managed the testing of all welders, reviewed WPS`S and PQR`S, inspected all welds for Intel at D1E at the Aloha campus.
• Directly supervised QA/QC contracted construction crews and represented Intel’s quality control requirements during fabrication and the in-process installation of UHP tubing and support piping.
