• To coordinate and participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Administer, direct and manage compliance with the company’s loss prevention plan.
• Initiate, perform and document inspections and audits with special emphasis on hazard recognition, unsafe behaviors / practices, and adherence of contractors and subcontractors to OSHA &/or MSHA requirements.
• Oversee and audit site security to ensure that the property is adequately protected.

• Review, revise and provide input to documents and procedures for ES&H concerns.

SAFETY CAREER OVERVIEW
Throughout my career in Occupational Safety & Health, I have been successful in both hands on and supervision of many projects and facilities in which as a team effort we have improved the OSHA & MSHA Safety Ratings (Recordability and Lost Time Rates) which lowered the Experience Modification Rates. I am also proud to state that I have never had a fatality at any facility or project location – although I have had to go onto locations which had such an unfortunate incident and had to revamp and revise their safety programs to bring them back to the levels of safety accountability at which they needed to be.
