adidas Group Canton, Massachusetts Director of Facility Planning, Design & Construction January 2006- June 2008
Full responsibility for the strategic planning, design, construction, and execution of essential real estate and facility ventures for adidas Group Americas Division. Oversaw all leases of real estate vital to the successful construction of all Americas’ Division office, retail and warehouse space. Partnered with adidas Group brand CFOs to develop annual $15-$20M capital budgets and pro formas for anticipated real estate transactions in support of key business objectives.
• Managed design and construction of a $270M, 1.9 million square foot campus to support the North America consolidation of the integrated adidas/Reebok customer service, warehousing and distribution functions
• Evaluated real estate positions and expiring leases to eliminate portfolio redundancies and ensure financial efficiency resulting in a 30 percent reduction in real estate costs over an 18 month period
• Implemented Furniture, Fixture and Equipment (FF&E) standards for adidas Group reducing individual FF&E acquisition costs by up to 60 percent
• Directed and instituted budgeting alternatives and creative design measures essential to the construction of the National Hockey League and Reebok Brand joint venture flagship store in NYC

Director of Facility Planning, Design & Construction 2001-2005
Oversaw North American corporate and retail leasing initiatives and provided pro forma analysis to individual business units in order to develop and maintain real estate capital budgets in support of the corporation’s business objectives. Consistently met real estate, build out and fixturing requirements based on projected corporate gross revenues. Formulated and revised space utilization plans in conjunction with Human Resource planning and individual business group leadership on a quarterly basis.

- 35,000 square feet of office space to support the relocation of the Rockport brand
- 10,000 square foot stand alone on-site childcare center
- 35,000 square foot Advanced Research and Design facility
- 75,000 square feet of showroom space in support of Rockport, Greg Norman and On Field brands
Manager Facility Planning and Design 1995-2001
• Managed planning, design, and construction of revolutionary $130M, 42 acre, 520,000 square foot Reebok International Ltd. World Headquarters in Canton, Massachusetts while directing phased relocation of 1,200 Reebok employees from four separate office locations
• Partnered with senior management to create Corporate Facilities business unit responsible for company wide strategic facility planning, building design, project management, and construction
• Initiated Reebok International’s first strategic real estate and facilities business initiative outlining space planning and design standards central to achieving US business objectives
• Negotiated purchasing agreements with national FF&E manufacturers to ensure cost savings through volume discount pricing
