CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR AND DIRECTOR, IMPLEMENTATION
As Construction Administrator for one of the world’s largest retail rebranding and architectural firm, major responsibilities included maintaining client satisfaction and detailed quality control by:
- Performed architectural site surveys for Design Forum architectural team prior to completion of client-requested construction documents
- Reviewing construction contracts and change orders
- Reviewing and approving payment applications
- Reviewing and answering Requests for Information (RFI)
- Reviewing shop drawings and submittals
- Performing site visits which involved 70% travel throughout United States and Canada
- Resolving contract and construction issues on-site
- Coordinated construction and delivery schedules
- Conducted research and eventual purchase for client-provided items
- Used Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
As a full-service general construction company, provided commercial and residential clients with architectural construction documents, , rough and finish carpentry, drywall, acoustical ceilings, ceramic tile, hardwood floors, decorative concrete, concrete flatwork, siding roofing, painting and supplied and installed pre-engineered steel buildings. Clients included Zaring Homes, Days Inn, Douglas Homes, Crossman Communities and various homeowners.
A division of C.I.M. Construction, provided computer aided drafting services for architects and engineers in the Cincinnati area. Utilizing AutoCAD, ArchiCAD and Solid Builder, projects included residential design and commercial architectural drafting and commercial coordination of mechanical drawing and mechanical machinery drawings. Clients included Zaring Homes, Erpenbeck, Weiland Builders, Budke Builders, L.G. Tokarsky AIA, H.C. Design Group, Pebble Creek Golf Course, Orchard Hillls Golf Course and Sugar Ridge Golf Course.
Assisted a number of builders through the design to set up a time-saving procedure for site specific houses to eliminate delays in the design and permit process.
