Executive Director for development of $250+ million entertainment district and mixed use development in West Hartford, CT. Project located on 19 acres in a historic urban setting and consisted of 7 buildings which contained 220,000 sf of retail with multiple restaurants multi-screen theater and boutique outlets, 200,000 sf of office space, 200,000 sf of high-end residential condominiums, and 1200 structured parking spaces. As Executive Director had total project responsibility, reported directly to Owner partnership, hired all staff, established office protocol and procedures for the management, coordination, and oversight of all aspects of project delivery for multi-building mixed-use development, including: budget creation and control, consultant management, entitlements and permitting, building construction, costing and cost control, tenant improvements and turnover of project for asset management team. Secured Construction Management services, negotiated contract, administrated contract, and liaised between Construction Manager, consultants, and Ownership.
Trading Cove Associates (Kerzner International/Waterford Development)
February 1998 – March 2005
February 2003 – March 2005 : Waterford Development, Project Executive, Adreians Landing – Oversee construction of $700 million urban redevelopment project consisting of 500,000 sf Convention Center, 400+ Room full Service Hotel, mixed-use residential/entertainment complex, and associated infrastructure. Responsibilities include: Corrected budget and schedule problems on Convention Center that had been under construction for 2+ years, developed bid package and management procedures for hard bid hotel project, coordinated development plan for mixed-use facility and infrastructure as Master Developer. Managed staff of 15 and coordinated activities of Construction Managers, contractors, A/E consultants and public entities.
February 1998 – February 2003: Trading Cove Associates (joint venture of Kerzner International and Waterford Development) Hired by Sun International (Kerzner) to complete the $1.2 billion Phase 2 expansion of the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Connecticut, this project included a new state of the art pari-mutual Race Book facility, 1200+ room 4-star Hotel (36 story) with luxury spa and amenities, 115,000 sf of new gaming space, 12 new dining facilities, a 10,000 seat Arena, 130,000sf of retail space, and a 100,000sf convention center. Established preliminary list, qualified, and established interviews with several companies for selection of the Construction Manager. Coordinated design effort between consultants, Operators, and Owners. Worked with the Construction Manager in establishing policies and procedures for the Project. Acted as liason for the coordination of all construction activities between Construction Manager, consultants, Operators, and the Tribe. Worked with project team in soliciting, reviewing, and approving all construction contracts. Reviewed and coordinated contractor change orders
Ellis-Don Construction, Inc., 1994 – 1998: Joined Ellis-Don in 1994 as Project Manager. Promoted to Senior Project Manager in June of 1996. As Senior Project Manager, responsible for the staffing of project team, establishing and monitoring office procedures, negotiation and supervision of subcontracts, coordination and scheduling of subtrades and the overall project, expediting delivery of material and equipment, accountability of all project expenses and cash flow, estimating revisions to contracts, and liaison with owner, architect, and consultants.

Duke University Medical Center, CIMOB & Ambulatory Surgery Center - Durham, North Carolina
Construction of new office building and medical facility. The original contract included an Ambulatory Surgery Center, which includes: operating rooms, medical gas system, independent HVAC system, patient rooms, labs, and associated facilities. During the course of construction, an Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic and Pediatric Bone Marrow Clinic with cryogenic laboratory were added.
Center for Therapeutic Recreation - Warms Springs, Ga.
Completion of recreation center, dining hall, basketball pavilion, track and field facility, and residential lodge at the historic Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation. All structures were built to accommodate the rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord and brain injuries
Lawrenceville Middle School - Lawrenceville, Georgia
This project included the construction of a new 276,000 square foot middle school, which is the largest in the Southeastern United States.
Renovation of the William Oliver Building - Atlanta, Georgia
Demolition of 17 floors of interior office space, and construction of 17 floors of apartments in a historic building (circa 1930)
