Job Summary This position is responsible for the review, planning, and implementation of plant modifications and other work activities by providing technical support during engineering change request (ECR) development (prior to implementation) reviewing design change packages, reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and recommend changes or additions. Responsible for implementation work order development by providing technical support to mechanical, electrical or civil supervision in the planning, scheduling, and man-loading of assigned projects including not limited to: resolution of construction related problems, preparing construction procedures, and ensuring all equipment and materials are available. During field implementation, responsible for coordinating construction activities between craft personnel and company personnel; performing field walk-downs and constructability reviews prior to the start of work; and monitoring work activities in the field to ensure work is conducted in accordance with station procedures, applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Provides budget input for projects assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Minimum of 2+ years in nuclear construction, operations or related field. Must have strong personal computer skills including CMMS, Maximo, SAP, DocTop, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical or civil design, procedures and codes. Sound knowledge of processes and procedures required to implement physical modifications to the facility. . Experience in nuclear project and implementation required Familiarity with creating and progressing schedules using Primavera Project Planner software. Demonstrates high level of ownership for their responsibilities, persists through adversity and follows through with commitments. Demonstrates high level integrity, safety, professionalism and appropriate behavior-driven results. Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in related field. Construction Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
Note: degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education (high school and 10+ years).
