SUMMARY Independently perform analysis and design activities in support of the facility, engineering programs and projects. Utilizing basic and advanced engineering fundamentals, as assigned, perform owner acceptance reviews of design packages developed by design agencies. Perform other engineering activities required to support facility design, configuration control, and operation.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
ANSI/ANS-8.26 Qualification. Criticality Safety and/or integrated safety analysis experience. Bachelors Degree in Engineering. 5 years of related work experience. PREFERRED EDUCATION ADN EXPERIENCE
A Masters Degree or PhD from an accredited college or university in Engineering. Professional Engineering (PE) License obtained by accredited examination. Eight or more years of related work experience: of which 2 years experience is in a nuclear facility. Monte Carlo Computer code experience (MCNP or MONK preferred). Experience in a 10 CFR part 70 facility. Integrated safety analysis experience is a plus.
